Limited Warranty
Pure Way™ warrants its products against manufacturing defects on the terms and conditions set forth below:
What is Covered?
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in your product.
What is Not Covered?
This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
- Alteration, modification, improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, fire
- Improper packing and shipping (claims must be presented to your shipping company)
- Lightning, power surges, or other acts of nature
- Unauthorized tampering or modification
- Repairs attempted by anyone not authorized by Pure Way
- Other causes unrelated to defects in materials and/or workmanship
How Long Does this Coverage Last?
- All installation materials, including valves: Full 1-year warranty
- Tanks: Lifetime warranty
- Water bottles and straws (excluding cartridges): 90-day full warranty
- Cartridges and point of use systems:
- Point of use systems: 1-year limited warranty
- Cartridges for water bottles and straws: 6-month limited warranty
- Cartridges for wholehouse systems: 2-year limited warranty
Note: With a prorated warranty, you must pay part of the replacement item’s cost. For example, if a product with a 2-year warranty fails in 1 year, Pure Way will credit you with 50% of the purchase price of a replacement product.
Note: You are responsible for certain shipping charges on claims.
Who is Covered?
Only the original purchaser of the Pure Way product is covered. This warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners.
What Pure Way Will Do
Pure Way will, at its sole discretion, provide one of the following remedies:
- Repair or facilitate repair of the defective unit or parts, including necessary parts and labor (excluding applicable shipping/handling/processing fees)
- Replace the defective product with a direct or comparable replacement
- Issue a refund of the original purchase price less depreciation based on product age
What Pure Way Will Not Do Under This Limited Warranty
- You must insure the product during shipment and prepay all related costs
- Pure Way is not responsible for removal or re-installation costs
- Pure Way is not responsible for installation, setup, or adjustments
How to Obtain a Remedy Under This Limited Warranty
To obtain a remedy, you must contact either Pure Way or your authorized distributor and provide a dated contract or receipt as proof of purchase.
Do not return a product without a return authorization number (RMA). You can obtain an RMA from Pure Way’s Customer Service Department at [insert phone] or [insert email].
Ship the product in its original carton when possible. Pure Way will refuse any packages without an RMA number.
Limitation of Liability
Pure Way’s maximum liability under this warranty shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the product. To the extent permitted by law, Pure Way is not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages from any breach of warranty or condition.
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusions or limitations, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
Exclusive Remedy
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this warranty and its remedies are exclusive and replace all other warranties, express or implied. If Pure Way cannot legally disclaim warranties, then implied warranties such as merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose shall apply only as provided by law.
If this product is deemed a “consumer product” under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act or other applicable law, this disclaimer of implied warranties does not apply.
Other Conditions
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights depending on your jurisdiction.
This warranty is void if:
- The serial number label is removed or defaced
- The product was not purchased from Pure Way or an authorized distributor
- The product has been altered
